• Cycle path to Gowerton and mix of cycle path and road to Bynea and Dafen, joining NCR 47 at Felinfoel. • Gentle climb on NCR47 for 3 miles (5km) to Hire,. Rejoin road for short steep – .6 mile/1km – climb (max 10%) to Five Roads. • Gentle climb for another .75 mile, before descending on quiet, country lane to B4317, and on to Carway, following road through Trimsaran, before entering Kidwelly from the north. • Return via Pinged, Pembrey and joining NCR4 cycle path at Burry Port, onto North Dock, Llanelli, rejoining main road for return to Loughor, and rejoin cycle path at Gowerton and home. • Lunch in Kidwelly • Surface Type: Varied mix of Tarmac/gravel/dirt cycle paths, main and quiet country roads. • Hazards: Stretch of road between end of NCR47, coming through Bynea, Llewenhendy and Felinfoel,, can be busy. Narrow, winding descent to B4317.
