Barry
Start: Wick Road, Ewenny – opposite entrance to Ewenny Garden Centre.
Head south on road, climbing gently to St. Bride’s Major; following gently undulating road through Monknash, Marcross, St Donate and on into Llantwit Major.
Staying east on road, then south to skirt Aberthaw and Choose, before joining cycle lane at Lower Porthkerry, leading us through the lovely Porthkerry Park and on into Barry where we will stop for lunch.
Leave Barry the way we came, back to Porthkerry, then swinging north past the airport, then on quiet, rolling lanes, through Penmark to Cowbridge. Continue on undulating country roads to Ewenny.

Surface Type: Mostly country roads with a couple of busy stretches and and then quiet lanes and tarmac cycle path through Porthkerry.

Hazards: Busy stretch of road from Llanwit to St Athan, and around Cardiff Airport.
