Clydach from Sainsbury’s SA1, Swansea

Clydach
A Swansea & Gower Cycling Festival Ride: Leave Sainsbury's over the Sail Bridge, turn left on to King's Rd, cross the main road and drop down on to the cycle path, NCR 43, heading north along the banks of the Tawe river. Follow the river to the historic Copper Quarter, cross the road at teh lights and follow the path past the Liberty Stadium, home of Swansea FC, and continue along the river, crossing it before the end of Beaufort road, and continuing on the path to Morriston and on to Ynystawe, crossing over a quiet road, with a one or two small climbs, before turning left to join the canal at Clydach. A short ride brings you up onto the road. Turn left, and take first on right – Capel Road, to teh lunch stop at Cwtch Corner cafe. After lunch, follow the same route home along the river.
Start and end at Sainsbury’s in the marina.
