Follow the river along NCR43 to Pontardawe; On to Graig Rd for 1.8 mile climb, max 9%, before descent to Rhos and Neath From the town there’s a 1 mile climb to the cafe in Gnoll park, max 12%. Lunch in the cafe. After kunch, a 2 mile climb up to the top of Cimla, max 10%, before great descent into Pontrhydyfen. From Pontrydyfen, follow cycle path down through SAfan Valley into Port Talbot, then flat back through Baglan and Briton Ferry, over the bridge, Fford Amazon and back to the marina.
Surface Type: Varied mix of Tarmac/gravel/dirt cycle paths, main roads and quiet lanes.
Hazards: Busy stretch of road up out of Pontadawe and down into Pontrhydyfen. Watch out for leaves & mud on cycle paths
