From SA1 up the Swansea valley bike path to Glais Bridge, then the old road toward Alltwen. turn right up and over Wern Ddu into Dyffryn and Brincoch and down Penywern Rd toward Neath. At Halfords, turn left up through Aberdulais and then right at Ysysygerwn to Resolven. Turn right off the A465 Roundabout into the Industrial Park for lunch. Go back to the main road and right through the village, follow the road through Melincourt and Clyne to Tonna, just after the hospital turn right down to just before Calor Gas and then right onto the canal path, follow the path through Neath until the junction with the Briton Ferry Bridge. Up the steep hill onto the bridge then follow Fabian Way back to Swansea.
