Gower Circuit
Cycle path to Blackpill, then Promenade to Mumbles, then onto road and around Limeslade, onto to Langland, Caswell and climb with one steep stretch(max 13%) up into Bishopston.
Through Parkmill with a steepish climb (max 13%) to Penmaen. Down into Oxwich on quiet country lane, with undulating route (with one stretch of 10%) to Horton.
On South Gower Road through Scurlage to Llandewi, Burry and Burry Green, then north on Kyft’s Lane for climb around shoulder of Llanmadoc Hill and steep descent to Llanmadoc.
Climb up to Landimore and undulating road to Llanrhidian , then drop down to Marsh Road.On through Crofty, Penclawdd, turning south east just before Gowerton for climb up to Three Crosses (max 13%), down towards airport, and back on road to Upper Killay.
Lunch at the Granary Cafe in Scurlage.

Surface Type: Tarmac cycle path, Country roads and quiet lanes.

Hazards: Can be busy along south Gower Road – cyclists should spread out and leave gaps for cars to overtake when safe to do so; steep descents into Oxwich and Llanmadoc.
Highlights: Beautiful views along the south Gower Road, and across the estuary from north Gower.
