Brynamman (Anticlockwise)
Cycle path to to the promenade, then into Swansea Marine, and up then river, following NCR 43 to Pontardawe. On to Ystalyfera, where we join the road for 5.5 mile (9km) climb to Brynamman, with one short steep bit (max 13%). After Brynamman pick up the Amman Valley Cycleway and follow this along the river to Ammanford. Through Ammanford, picking up cycle path across the rope bridge, rejoin road and climb up to Garnswllt, 1.8 miles (3km), max of 11% at the bottom. Down into Pontardulais, Gorseinon, Gowerton, and onto the Clyne Valley cycle path back to the Railway Inn. Hazards: Steep descent from Garnswllt on narrow road (max 11%).
