Llanarthne
• Head west to Loughor on road, continuing on road to North Dock, then joining NCR4 (Swiss Valley to Tumble (9km gentle climb to Cynheidre, then flattish to Tumble)
• On road, undulating to National Botanical Gardens then short steep climb (max 12%, .3 mile) then flat to Llanarthne.
• East on B4300 for 1.5 miles, flat, before heading south on B4297 and climbing for 5.5 miles (Max 13%, average 6%), through Penrhiwgoch, Maesybont, before descending to Tycroes.
• Another 2mile climb, (max 7%) on Pontardulais road, then flat to llanedi.
• Descend on road through Fforest down into Pontardulais, join cycle path back to Gowerton
• Lunch at Wright’s Food Emporium in Llanarthne.

Hazards: Busy stretch of road between Loughor and North dock; another bust stretch on Pontardulais Road from Tycroes before turn off for Llanelli. Be cautious at Junctions.
